100 Best Friend Quiz Questions (Fun, Deep and Hard to Guess)

Two best friends laughing together while looking at a phone

Best friends usually say they know everything about each other. A good quiz puts that claim to the test. Can you name their coffee order, their worst habit, the song they play on repeat? And do they know yours?

Here are 100 best friend quiz questions, grouped into rounds. Use them in person, on a call or in a group chat. You can ask them out loud, write them on paper or turn them into a quiz your friend takes on their phone. Each question has a clear answer, so you can keep score.

How to play a best friend quiz

There are a few easy ways to play, depending on where you are:

  • Face to face. Take turns asking questions. Write down your answer first, then guess your friend's. One point per correct guess.
  • On a call. Each of you answers privately, then you reveal at the same time.
  • As a link quiz. You answer questions about yourself and send the link. Your friend guesses and their score shows up on your scoreboard. Our free BFF Quiz does exactly this.
  • In a group. Everyone takes the same quiz about one person. The person with the highest score is "best friend of the week".

Tip: mix easy and tricky questions. If every question is obvious, the game is over in a minute.

Tips for a better quiz

  • Keep it short. Ten to twenty questions is plenty. Stop while it's still fun.
  • Mix easy and hard questions. A few gimmes keep morale up, and a few tough ones make the winner earn it.
  • Don't punish wrong answers. The funniest moments come from a friend being confidently wrong.
  • Swap roles. After one round, switch and quiz each other the other way around.
  • Remember the answers. Wrong guesses are a hint to listen better next time.

Friendship is made of small details, like what someone orders, what makes them laugh and what they worry about. A quiz is just a playful excuse to pay attention to them.
